Sierra obtained a B.S. in Kinesiology Pre-Physical Therapy from Western Washington University in 2016. During her years at WWU, Sierra earned a personal training certification through ACE and began training clients in 2013. Her passion for exercise was sparked at a young age when she lived in Eugene, Oregon and would compete in youth track meets at Hayward Field (Go Ducks!). Her love for running continued into her high school years; she competed in the 2011 cross country state championship meet and attended Steens Mountain High Altitude Running Camp three times. During her high school years she sustained plantar fasciitis, preventing her from running for a year and a half. Her injury sparked a new interest in injury rehabilitation, ultimately steering her towards getting her kinesiology degree with a pre-physical therapy emphasis. Before becoming a part of the FQ team Sierra spent three years working with clients recovering from various injuries and surgeries. Sierra has continued to run and recently completed her first half marathon, finishing in a time of 1:43:14, placing her 107th out of 2071 runners, and 9th in her age group.
Sierra believes in a preventative and holistic approach to training; targeting all major components of health and wellness.
